Writing & the forthcoming book
Words, slowly,
deliberately.
Writing gives me a different kind of honesty. Music creates experiences. Teaching creates conversations. Writing asks me to think carefully enough that the ideas can stand on their own.
The book
A book, forthcoming.
For almost twenty years I’ve been returning to the same questions. What is this life? Why do we suffer? Why do ancient traditions still matter? Why, despite unprecedented progress, do so many of us feel disconnected from ourselves? My first book grows out of those questions. It isn’t a manual or a collection of techniques. It’s an attempt to think carefully about what it means to live well in the modern world, without losing the depth of the traditions that brought us here.
This project is currently with my literary agent at Graham Maw Christie. It is being written for serious readers, people who are curious about the spiritual life and unwilling to engage with it on imprecise or performative terms.
More will be shared when there is more to share. Sign up above to be the first to hear when it is announced.
